Munitionspanzer/Waffenträger on Shortened Panther Chassis

A wooden model (shown below) of an ammunition carrier
based on a shortened Panther chassis was developed in 1943-4 by
Diamler-Benz and Rheinmetall-Borsig. Ultimately it was built as
a mild steel prototype. The chassis was shortened by two roadwheels.
It was suggested that several uses be made of the chassis:
