The 15cm sIG33/1 auf 38(t) was the final Selbstfahrlafette produced by the Germans during World War II. A total of 282 were produced from April 1943 until September 1944, with two separate orders having been filled. The sIG33/1 auf 38(t) served until the end of the war on all fronts, with 173 Grille (of all models) still available in February 1945.
